About Kim

Kim's approach to making healthy lifestyle changes include services such as one-one nutrition fitness coaching, corporate wellness workshops, education, custom nutrition and fitness workshops, customized fitness plans, and cross training fitness classes. 

Kim's areas of expertise include nutrition and fitness coaching, alignment, diastasis recti, and core/balance/stability training.  Kim is very passionate about increasing education around Diastasis recti.  She teaches workshops and trains clients privately specifically for DR in addition to overall wellness.  Learn why it is never to late to heal your DR!


Kim was a nutrition coach at the Cambridge Athletic Club (www.cambridgeathletic.com) as well as a fitness instructor for over 10 years. She has taught workshops at various companies and universities; such as the Russell J Call Children's Center at Northeastern University and at MIT Recreation Sports. Kim has provided nutrition seminars at REI Boston Outreach.  She has written various articles for the Belmont Farmer's Market Roots & Sprouts Newsletter, Belmont Health Collaborative, Patch.com and Nesting.com.

Kim partnered with Becca Pizzi (1st U.S. woman to run and win the World Marathon Challenge 2016 and then won again overall in 2018!).  They formed the Belmont Youth Running Club in 2015.  Kids ages 8 and up meet every Friday morning at 7am-7.25am in Belmont.  The club promotes fitness, and All levels of ability are welcome.   Email Kim or Becca for more information at belmontyouthrunningclub@gmail.com or kimr@yourhealthsense.com.  Kim and Becca also trained 43 kids for 6 weeks for the NE Kids Triathlon that was held in July 2018 at MIT.  

Kim was part of a team of instructors in the MIT Physical Education department, Community Wellness for almost 4 years.  She was teaching a Nutrition & Fitness class to MIT undergraduate students. 

Kim is a volunteer with her youngest child's elementary school for the Green Team Committee, Health and Wellness, as well as her oldest child's middle school, Green Team.  Kim had been trying to eliminate styrofoam lunch trays with a cost effective eco-body friendly alternative for serving meals in all of Belmont Schools since 2010.  She is part of a team that had implemented the "Trash Bashers" program in the Chenery Middle School and is now serving food on compostable trays in all of Belmont Public Schools, Yay!!

Kim has also held nutrition talks at the Belmont Hill Sport Camp to educate the campers about the importance of hydration.  

Kim has been teaching group fitness classes since 1999 at various health clubs in the Boston, Cambridge and Metro-West area.  Kim mixes her own music and creates play-lists for all her fitness classes.  She is consistently expanding her knowledge base of nutrition and fitness by taking continuing education courses, workshops, and seminars.
