KOGA - Kickboxing and Yoga combo

KOGA? 
What is KOGA?
  It is a combination of kickboxing and yoga.    www.kogaworkout.com

How can the two work together? 
Well I had to find out for myself and experience a class this past saturday at Cambridge Athletic Club.  The demonstration class was taught by the creator Jon KOGA.  I love kickboxing and yoga.  But it was so much more than just kickboxing and yoga; with plyometric moves, use of stabilizers, and concentration on form and breath.  Counts of 4 make it easy to follow.  At the end of each set, we were doing yoga poses that ties into the muscles we just worked.  Simple effective moves.  I was sweating, and my legs were shaking; but I did not feel like I was hit by a truck at the end.  I burned lots of calories, had a complete body and mind workout.  I highly recommend it.
